Food Pantry Ministry

Ever felt hungry? No, really gut wrenching hungry! Hopefully, we never find ourselves in such circumstances. But… this does not mean that others do not.

Our LGMC Food Pantry is open for two hours each Thursday offering hope for many of those in need. We provide a full bag of groceries monthly and baked products weekly (courtesy of Publix). Our congregation helps stock our food pantry through purchases and donations.

But, we are always in need of persons to assist in issuing and sometimes carrying bags to cars during this two hour period. Volunteering for one or two two-hour periods per month would be a worthwhile means of helping our neighbors.
